CEC Appoints Derek Butterworth to Installer Reference Group

Congratulations to Derek Butterworth on his appointment to the IRG

SAE Group are thrilled to announce Solar Operations Manager, Derek Butterworth, has been added to the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC), Installer Reference Group 2019/2020 (IRG).

The CEC is a not-for-profit organisation with the vision for Australia to be powered with clean energy. Integrity, compliance and standards within the energy industry are all aspects that the CEC body governs. Derek and other members of the IRG will work collaboratively to help improve and shape the solar industry, providing input when it comes to ensuring solar standards, guidelines, and policies within the industry are maintained and valued.

With SAE Group already being a CEC approved retailer and Derek being a CEC accredited installer, his appointment to the IRG is another milestone for group. Strong ties with the governing body allow us to keep our finger on the pulse with solar industry best practice, allowing us to provide quality products and services for our customers.
