SAE Group have teamed up with SolarBuddy to give the gift of light to children living in energy poverty around the world.

SolarBuddy is an Australian charity uniting a global community with a big dream to gift six million solar lights to children living in energy poverty by 2030, to help them study after dusk and improve their education outcomes.

Here at SAE Group, we are always looking for ways to improve our communities, local and global, and SolarBuddy does that. It is our vision to leave the world in a better place than we found it, and actions such as this make a difference.

Educate locally, impact globally

“There are so many layers to this initiative that excites us” says Managing Director, Glen Ashton, “SolarBuddy collaborates with our local schools STEM program, delivering a hands on demonstration of the benefits of solar technology where students build a solar light all while raising their awareness about energy poverty and the long lasting effects this can have on a young person’s life.”

We are so excited to collaborate with SolarBuddy to demonstrate how innovative design can change lives and develop global citizens at the same time.

SAE Group have committed a portion of every solar system sold to SolarBuddy so we look forward to coming to a school near you very soon
