SAE Group turns 10! This month is another huge milestone for SAE Group, celebrating TEN laps around the sun!

SAE Group installed its first system on 17 May 2010, with the clear goal of bringing good, clean energy to Aussie households. From humble beginnings, a small but mighty team of three operated out of a little office in Tweed Heads and has since grown to more than 120 staff, with locations now on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Ballina and Coffs Harbour, all in just ten short years.

SAE Group has led the charge in educating what a good quality solar system looks like and how life-changing it really can be when you get it right.

Changing the lives of more than 20,000 customers, installing over 500,000 panels, and consequently delivering an average saving of $2,000 every year to homes just like yours, not to mention the exponential savings to local businesses.

When SAE Group started out, the average system size was just 1.5kW, with an average daily production of approximately 6.3kWh, and it would set you back approximately $4,000. Today, the average home now installs a 6.6kW for an out of pocket price of around $5,500 and generates a daily average of 28kWh each day. With ever increasing electricity prices, the average home stands to make a drastic reduction on their electricity bill. The investment in clean power has simply never been better.
