By sending this form, you agree to SAE contacting you about your enquiry. Read our privacy policy.
SAE will confirm serviceability, eligibility and timing for your property. An enquiry does not guarantee a 2026 installation or an STC amount.
The amounts below show the extra upfront STC discount you could receive for an eligible installation completed by 31 December 2026, compared with the same system installed in January–June 2027.

Start planning now. Assessment, approvals and scheduling take time. An eligible installation must be completed in 2026 to receive the applicable 2026 entitlement; signing a quote alone does not secure it.
*Examples show the difference in upfront STC discounts between the two periods, not the total discount or annual electricity savings. Solar examples use zone 3; your postcode may change the solar amount. Calculations use $37.20 per solar STC and $37.00 per battery STC, held constant across both periods. Eligibility, system details, STC value and completed installation affect your actual benefit. SAE will confirm your quote and installation timing.
Other incentives may also apply. Ask SAE which grants or rebates can be combined for your property.
Understand the upfront benefit
Small-scale Technology Certificates can help reduce the upfront cost of an eligible solar or battery installation.
By assigning the right to create the certificates to a registered agent, you may receive a discount on your system. The amount depends on your system and the certificate value.
Ask SAE for the figures that apply to your quote, together with a realistic view of the installation process.

Before you enquire
No. Availability, assessment, approvals and other requirements need to be confirmed for your property. Submitting this form or signing a quote does not guarantee an installation date or entitlement.
Assessing your property, confirming requirements and scheduling installation take time. STC entitlements reduce from 1 January 2027, so check what is practical for your home now. SAE will explain the timing that applies to your property.
Yes. Select “Battery for existing solar” in the form. SAE can assess the compatibility of your existing system and whether adding a battery may suit your home.
The amount depends on eligibility, system capacity, location where relevant, certificate value and installation timing. SAE can explain the assumptions in your quote. An upfront STC discount is different from ongoing electricity bill savings.
Start with your contact details, property address and what you are interested in. Your address helps our team look at the location, roof and positioning before calling. You do not need to upload your power bill in this form.
